I play this server for 2 weeks or more but here is what i feel. The server itself is amazing i never got dc while playing this game. The community also very helpful, like for me who just got into 4th job and renewal things they are really helping me alot. the things that i want to improve is the availability of gm or admin, because one time i try to top up and its nearly take 5-6 hours to get my credits uploaded but overall this is a nice server for those who seek renewal RO

EP 20 Got me hooked No downtime, official feels, and somewhat grindy (somewhere between low to mid rate), EP 20 equips is fabulous Smooth server, zero lag. Quest, mobs, gear feels like official but with QOL features. Challenging mobs which is harder than the official. There are some features on the server that i do not like, fly wings are not available on cash shop, eden, and tool dealer. You will need to go the Flywing NPC, you can get 200-300 pcs every hour. But it is little nuisance.

This is a totally new Midgard Tales. Good drop rates, good and latest 4th jobs content. Exciting farming. If you like 4th jobs Ragnarok and you like adventure and crafting gears--from the simple ones up to the endgame ones--then this is the server for you. Give Midgard Tales a chance. Try it and invite your friends. It's a good server. We hope that the new GM team create more exciting content, more rewards and engaging activities that players can enjoy. And more openness to suggestions.

The server is really good if you are only starting to play in renewal, it has great community and GMs that will help you progress in the server, if you want a server to grind this is the server for you.

I m returnee player. When midgard tales goes to very wrong way, i decide to take break. But i can see little hope in new GM Team & dev now. I hope they more interact with player and make good decision in future, with player & community as their goal. If they can't pleased everyone atleast they not pissed anyone with their update or sneaky changes in future. I m believe they can do it, especially with YGGdrasil guild as their supporter. The place that i proudly said home in this Ragnarok server.

New Dev are responsive to player feedback. Some changes are questionable but its interesting to see how they develop. Changes to flywing was initially frustrating but Dev made improvement to it. They did a good job restoring undervalued materials back to their original values and added alternative uses to it. Non-aoe magic builds are viable in farming now. The new MVP and Varmundt maps offer more motivation to attend MVP/World boss hunting, which is good for a PVM like me.

Midgard Tales is probably the most up-to-date private server in terms of content but the GM\Admin team are the real issue of the game.They make such bad decisions in game that actually ruins the complete ragnarok experience that we old school players want to experience. Imagine having the latest contents,end game gears,etc but you cannot use flywing and you only get limited flywings every hour. Really bad decisions are being made by the GM team who probably dont have any experience being player.

don't try this one. the latest update is very not Magic class-friendly. they made Fly Wing to have a weight of 10 (and 8). can't be stored, can't be dropped, can't be bought in the Tool Dealer in effort to beat macro/bot user. this month alone they did at least 3 updates, because everyone, literally EVERYONE, was not happy with the changes. their MVP updates are trash. https://forum.ratemyserver.net/server-reviews/midgard-tales-wasted-potential-by-incompetent-people-and-poor-management/

Great server, Friendly community and GM as well helpful. i lot to learn from this server. Player are pretty nice and helpful with the newbies like me. This is my first time playing in advance server but this server is on the other level. Good job GM's of midgardtales more power!!

This server is 100% newbie friendly, no corruption occurs, everything is balance and fair. The GMs and developers are commendable. The equipment or item progression is quite grindy but it will never kill your enjoyment to this game. Just one step at a time and it will be worth it. So if you're planning to play and have nostalgic feels again with regards to RO, this server is really a perfect fit for you. With latest updates and new contents, you'll surely love this server.
